Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will oversee the safety, cleanliness, and daily operations of the studio.


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


Managerial Duties

  • Support the development and implementation of the HIIT Factor brand strategy that ensures winning new business and driving retail growth

  • Open and close the studio

  • Manage communications across instructors & owners

  • Addresses time off or call-offs from instructors and updates studio schedule

  • Updates programming in scheduling software, e.g Vagaro

  • Run errands as needed to support business needs

  • Communicates issues within the studio to the owners or directly with the (vendor) source to solve the problem, e.g. garbage removal, utility, etc.

  • Enforce studio rules

  • Escalate concerns as needed to owners

  • Additional duties as prescribed


Customer Service Duties

  • Maintains the "voice" of the studio

  • Checks in members

  • Opens and adjusts memberships

  • Manage communications with members/clients and resolve issues to the satisfaction of the customer, but not to the detriment of the owners

  • Be the first line of defense for members/clients

  • Offers studio tours to promote membership package & services


Safety

  • Follows state regulations and prevention measures around COVID-19

  • Cleans equipment and refills cleaning bottles where appropriate

  • Cleans restrooms as needed

  • Ensures building perimeter has clear walking to the studio for members and clients during winter months (salt, shoveling etc)

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions

  • Physical activities include: walking, talking, seeing, hearing, pushing, climbing, sitting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, handling

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to go up and down stairs frequently

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques


Job Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
- 1 - 3+ years experience working in a supervisory role
- 1+ years of customer service experience, fitness background desired
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism to the brand at all times
- Punctuality
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Self -motivated and assertiveness
- Understanding of Point-of-Sale (POS) and scheduling systems
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, internet browsing etc.

- Ability to exhibit thought leadership, offering creative ideas to the owners
- Honesty and trustworthy
- Willingness to go above and beyond for the health of the studio
- Willingness to support team as needed to cover all classes
