General Summary: The Pilates & Yoga Coordinator develops, directs, and ensures delivery of standard Pilates and Yoga methodology under the general supervision of the Athletic Manager. Assists in the development and implementation of the Pilates & Yoga department budgets. Responsible for the recruiting, hiring, motivating, and evaluating of all Pilates & Yoga instructors. The coordinator solicits, listens to and responds to member and instructor concerns and feedback in relation to the scheduling of classes (formal type, level, time), the instruction given (clear, concise, safe, effective, relative information), and the environment provided (cleanliness, friendliness, personal attention, encouragement). The Pilates & Yoga Coordinator is also responsible for the tracking of leads, sales and resigns.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree (B.A.) in Exercise Science or a related field from four- year college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of one year of experience in the fitness department of a health and fitness facility and/or prior experience as a personal trainer. Pilates/Yoga training and education required.

Additional Requirements: Current CPR, First Aid Certification and a nationally recognized certification for Pilates/Yoga is required. Leadership, communication, and customer service skills are important.
