PERSONAL TRAINING COACH
Fitness Coaches play a key role in the club’s and company’s overall success by:
Achieving and exceeding Personal Training sales and revenue goals and selling ancillary services;
Advising members and guests on programs and activities that will help them meet their long and short term health and fitness goals;
Providing members and guests with legendary service and enhancing their sense of belonging and community within the club.
In addition to the primary roles and responsibilities described within, each member of the TNT Strong Fitness Team embraces and follows the guidelines outlined in our Service Standards and plays a vital role in the success of the department, club and company. Members of the TNT Strong Fitness Team always represent the company while they are in the clubs and must maintain a professional manner in dealing with fellow staff, members and guests. They must display a helpful and positive attitude, and assist other departments when necessary. Members of the TNT Strong Fitness Team are encouraged to communicate ideas on best practices to their leaders as well as colleagues in other departments.
TNT Strong Training Coaches focus on providing personalized attention, professional instruction, and exercise programming to the TNT Strong members. Working individually or in small groups, Trainers strive to maximize the member’s health, fitness, and wellness goals while providing the highest level of customer safety, appropriate training practices and motivation.
Build a client base through conducting fitness assessments and demonstrating the value of personal training, including safe and proper exercise techniques.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients’ goals.
Motivate and inspire clients to get results through goal setting, frequent follow-up, and re-assessments to show progress.
Provide hospitality to all members.
Are courteous business professionals interested in promoting the wellbeing and satisfaction of our members and guests.
Provide sound leadership and acting as a positive role model
Represent the club in an energetic, motivating, and positive manner
Provide personal training and group exercise instruction as needed
Deliver exceptional customer service
Increase membership enrollment by promoting the club
Ensure club programs are safe, fun, challenging, and motivating
Treat members, guests, and fellow associates with genuine respect
TNT Strong Training Coaches report to the Director of Fitness & Coaching to develop their business plan and meet regularly for ongoing mentoring to increase client participation and retention.
TNT Strong Training Coaches conduct fitness assessments with each assigned new member in order to establish personalized exercise programs that include progression and advancement
TNT Strong Training Coaches maintain client files and document exercise progress utilizing TNT Strong Club’s software.
TNT Strong Training Coaches identify special population needs and refers to Director of Fitness when necessary
TNT Strong Training Coaches actively participate in bi- weekly team meetings
TNT Strong Training Coaches ensure that fitness equipment is safe and maintained and fitness equipment is put away in an organized manner at all times
TNT Strong Training Coaches will participate in marketing strategies that will enhance personal training services
TNT Strong Training Coaches will adhere to standards as set forth in the 43 * North Employee Handbook
TNT Strong Training Coaches will perform other duties as required. Employee responsibilities are subject to change at any time.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION
Enjoys networking and building relationships - comfortable on the phone and in doing outreach in the community.
Commitment to providing top notch customer service and some experience working in a fast paced customer service role.
Team player who approaches challenges in a creative and positive manner.
Experience in a sales environment focused on attaining revenue and unit goals is a plus.
A passion for health and wellness and the ability to influence people in overcoming their obstacles to exercising, joining a fitness club, and in making lifestyle changes.
Have experience in a fitness or health club environment
Sincerely enjoy helping others improve their health and quality of life
Interact with others in an enthusiastic, friendly, and positive manner
Are respectful and understand the importance of leading by example
Possess a professional demeanor and outstanding customer service skills
Have exceptional verbal communication skills
Possess effective leadership abilities and are highly motivated
Possess at least one nationally recognized certification in group exercise/personal training
