The Risher Companies (711 Fit) is looking for a personal trainer/staff member to work in a high-end corporate fitness facility located in Downtown Houston, Texas. The facility includes an array of fitness equipment offerings, group fitness, personal training, and fully stocked locker rooms with a business professional clientele. This position is comprised of two parts, a part-time staff schedule as well as the opportunity to grow a commission eligible personal training client base.
- Punctual
- Fully Close the club at 8pm
- Greet all patrons when they enter the facility
- Manage daily member check in and process retail purchases via computer and attendance software during the shift
- Generate personal training appointments through a variety of leads
- Help patrons out in any way possible and provide an enjoyable fitness atmosphere
- Complete any additional duties as assigned
This position will work a minimum of 25-30 hours per week Monday-Friday at a rate of $12/hr on a set schedule (3pm-8pm) as well as personal training commission averaging $50/hr. Fitness related commission is not limited to a schedule or maximum hours. Personal Training appointments can be made between 5am and 8pm.
Uniform shirts provided, black appropriate fitness attire required (athletic pants, shorts, yoga pants etc.)
Preferred Applicant Requirements (education, skills, licenses, etc.)
- 1+ years of work experience in a customer service environment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone, or via email
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well-groomed and professional fitness appearance
- High School Diploma
- Personal Training Certificate is a requirement to be commission eligible
