IF YOU HAVE A GREAT ATTITUDE AND PASSION FOR FITNESS WE HAVE AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU!

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Chicago Fit Performance is a functional training gym that has been in business for 10 years. The great news is we are growing and we are looking to add another coach to our team. We offer small group training, private and semi-private personal training, nutrition coaching, accountability, support and most importantly a fun, energetic environment to support our clients to build better bodies, so they can to write better stories (to their life).

We train men and women looking to lose weight, build muscle, get fit and healthy, and young athletes 14-18 that want to run faster and jump higher without getting tired. CFP is not just a gym. It’s a place where our clients come to have the best hour of their day.

We pride ourselves in having a great team, an incredible service, and creating a unique and exceptional experience for our members. We pride ourselves on the ability to customize workout programs to meet our members where they are at, to fit their bodies, and to allow them to progress at a rate that is safe and sustainable.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

A job where you can show up and do what you're passionate about, helping people reach their goals. Our trainers do no sales on the floor, we want you to focus on what you do best. You're going to work alongside great trainers and coaches and we promise you will learn more in months than you have in your entire career. We have the most continuing education out of any gym in Chicago, all at no cost when you're part of the CFP team.

Pay ranges from $30 to $40 per hour. Part time trainers typically get 15-20 hours per week and full time trainers get 30-40 hours per week. In addition we offer up to $400 per year reimbursement on certifications and courses that aligns with company's services.

If you are hired for this position you will undergo a 1-2 weeks paid training to learn the systems we implement specifically at CFP that have put us where we are at nowadays. You will be working and training with our team, and teach you to become the best coach you can be.

We work closely with our personal trainers to develop coaching, assessment, and program-design skill sets to complement career aspirations within the fitness industry.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Someone to join our team as a personal trainer/small group trainer/sports performance coach with a desire to to work with both adults and youth.
  • Someone with positive energy that cares about changing lives.
  • Our next personal trainer will be a people person. While we’re well known for our technical and coaching abilities here at CFP, in reality, we are in the people’s business. One of the biggest reasons for our success is because we realize that our members truly are everything to our business. We go to great lengths to get to know our clients, what motivates them, and to understand the deeper reasons behind why they train. If you are personable, friendly, and easy-going, you would be a great candidate for the position.
  • Our next coach will be a life-long learner. One of the few things you can bank on here at CFP is that we’re always going to be learning something new. This keeps us at the forefront of our industry and allows us to stay ahead of the pack. We realize our only sustainable competitive advantage is the ability to learn faster than the competition and that's why continuing education for us is non-negotiable. If you are curious, enjoy learning, and want to be the best coach you can possibly be, you would be a great candidate for this position.
  • Our next personal trainer will be a consistent and steady team player. In sports (and life), you quickly realize you’re only as strong as your weakest link. CFP has grown over the past 10 years because we have a tight-knit team that is serious about the long-term success of both the individuals involved, as well as the business as a whole. If you want to be a part of a great team, then the coaching position at CFP could be ideal for you.
