Job Description
The D. Bradley McWilliams YMCA is currently seeking an experienced and energetic Personal Trainer to develop impactful relationships with members and guide clients towards health-related goals.

The trainer will monitor and instruct clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength equipment.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a diverse community of individuals, and have a passion for improving the lives of others through health and fitness.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: promoting personal training programs via SMART Start consultations, special events, demos and marketing incentives, developing and maintaining a personal training client database, performing fitness assessments and equipment orientations.

Must be computer literate and create client profiles and upload assessments, workout plans, etc. into EZFacility and enter information into DAXKO Operations.

All personal trainers are required to work Healthy Living floor shifts or work in Group Fitness or other Healthy Living related position to engage members, build rapport and build their client base as well as be available to work weekends.

Job Requirements
A National Personal Training Certification or YMCA recognized Personal Trainer certification is required as well as previous experience as a Personal Trainer. Certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration through ASHI must be obtained within 30 days of hire and kept current along with all other certifications.
