Job Description

WTS International, the world's leading amenity and hospitality management firm, is seeking a remote Human Resources Business Partner. This role partners with corporate HR team and operations management to solve organizational challenges through people-related solutions and employee relations. Leads talent development initiatives for field-based associates, counsels operations leadership on people-matters and supports the overall execution of company policies and practices.

Prior hospitality, retail or multi-unit experience highly preferred. Remote role with Chicago as target location with Miami, NYC, or the Metro DC area also to be considered based on employee population and geographically distributed workforce.


  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Analyze data to guide decision-making process and proactive solutions.
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue.
  • In conjunction with corporate HR team, design and implement solutions that appropriately apply to all business segments and disciplines.
  • Provide expertise in the areas of succession/career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, employee relations, learning & development, recognition programs and strategic development.
  • Build strong relationships with operations leaders across all segments.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Coach managers through complex employee grievances and employee relations issues.
  • Provide counsel to management on correcting unwanted employee behavior through the Disciplinary Process
  • Support field management through the Performance Management Process


Following is a list of pre-requisites needed to ensure successful job performance:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, business, or related field
  • SHRM SPHR certification is a plus
  • Minimum 8 years generalist/business partner experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Energetic, self-motivated, independent worker, with sense of urgency
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle critical situations with good judgment
  • Strong planning, organization, and executional skills with detail-orientation and deadline-driven
  • Strong customer services skills with timely follow up, follow through and professional courtesy
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and conflict resolution and investigatory practices
