Job Description
The Atlantic Club in Manasquan is looking for friendly, professional, dependable staff to join our Front Desk Team on a part time basis!

Candidate must be available to work flexible hours, early mornings, nights and/or weekends may be required.
Job Requirements
Job responsibilities include:
• Greets and checks in all members and guests
• Liaison between members and Membership Office: Including prospects and current members
• Answers and directs all incoming phone calls
• Fields all member complaints and concerns
• Performs Opening and Closing Procedures for the club if assigned those shifts
• Responsible for keeping both desks clean, neat, and orderly
• Attends staff/departmental meetings & trainings
• Maintains professionalism when not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related
• Creates the “First Impression”
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be highly motivated and energetic
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, discretion and aptitude
• Excellent dependability & reliability
• Minimum of 3 years experience in customer service
• Organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Must quickly learn about Club operations
• Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary
• Must utilize proper customer service techniques in handling members, guests, staff, management efficiently and with respect (assess needs, maintain eye contact, accommodating tone of voice)

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have experience in customer service
• Experience in health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
• Must successfully complete company training program
