Job Description

WTS International, the world's leading spa, fitness and leisure firm, is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst for our corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD. The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for maximizing asset value, increasing net operating income for the Operating Division and protecting the company's investment in its assets. Position will also liaison and support pro forma development for the sales team.


 Provides weekly, mid-month and monthly reporting for all key metrics and initiatives
 Provides analysis of financial, payroll, key data and metrics for all assigned accounts
 Assists with the development and implementation of operational software
 Prepares custom templates for budgets and trains personnel on its use
 Prepares and implements a budget schedule and reviews budgets prior to submission to the Senior Vice president of Finance and IT
 Prepares Pro Forma custom templates for the sales team and projects as assigned
 Meets with sales team to gather initial project information and develops, reviews, and refines the pro formas with the sales team and VP, FP&A, and CFO.
 Oversees and assists staff accountants with monthly membership billing, declines and returns
 Reviews account receivables and assists with chargebacks, as necessary
 Performs weekly and monthly membership tracking
 Conducts needs assessments and operational audits, as needed, which includes going on-site to audit, preparing market and demographic information, performing a competitive set study and completing 3-5 year financial projections
 Work with divisional teams to execute any financial related initiatives
 Provide development and assistance for reporting tools that can be distributed to the sites
 Other duties as assigned


 Following is a list of pre-requisites needed to ensure successful job performance:
 Bachelor's degree preferred in the area of finance, accounting, business or related field
 Minimum two years of consulting, operational, and/or financial management experience in hospitality, spa, recreation and/or fitness
 Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
 Must be a results driven professional who leads by example
 Must be self-motivated, well-organized, efficient, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously with deadlines
 Must possess a positive, innovative and creative approach to problem solving
 Must be able to think independently and able to work on their own
 Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
 Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
 Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
 Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
 Flexibility to provide assistance where needed
