Job Description
As an Operations Manager at Youfit Health Clubs, you are responsible for managing all operational aspects of your location, from the staff and equipment, to cleanliness and member perception. Your goal is to make sure that we operate smoothly and in accordance with our values.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Oversee the entire operation of a Youfit location
  • Successfully recruit & develop staff members
  • Provide continued education and development of staff members
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including evaluations, daily deposits, daily recap, etc.
  • Create and maintain the staff schedule according to Youfit standards and the club’s needs
  • Responsible for all member, staff, and facility issues. Must maintain all club logs
  • Must maintain all records per local and federal legal requirements
  • Informs all staff of new policies
  • Must promote & inform employees of all marketing promotions
  • Ensure the club’s cleanliness and maintenance meets company standards
  • Must create and maintain an enjoyable environment for all employees, members, & guests
  • Communicate with upper Management regarding any issues or needs of the club
  • Must be available and reachable by their staff, YF regionals, and YF admin at ALL TIMES. To be clear, this means 24/7 365 days a year. It is your sole responsibility to provide, all of the above, your contact information for this purpose
  • You will be required to have reliable transportation to and from work. You will also be required to travel within the immediate area of your location to complete weekly marketing requirements, travel to company meeting and events, and daily bank deposits

Requirements:
  • High school or equivalent
  • At least one year experience directly managing a team of multiple employees
  • Knowledge and training of a formal sales system (preferred)
  • Experience in operations employee management
  • Experience recruiting, interviewing, and developing your own team
  • Organized, flexible and resourceful
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience dealing directly with customers as well as vendors.
  • Experience in the fitness industry (preferred)
  • Physical effort required to carry out daily duties such as lifting supplies and gym equipment potentially in excess of 50lbs
