** This position requires driving around Sun City, Sarasota, and Bradenton. There are 12 classes per week. Please review the schedule at the bottom.
Fitness instructor needed to teach a program called InstruMix. InstruMix is dance fitness class that uses percussion instruments. Classes are at various nursing homes and assisted living facilities. You will drive to a different location for each class. This is a unique opportunity to deliver fun and effective exercise classes that will positively touch the lives of many adults in the elderly community.
Applicant must:
- Have reliable transportation
- Be energetic and outgoing
- Be comfortable working with older adults who have physical and / or mental disabilities.
- Must be willing and able to complete a training period where you will learn to teach the existing chorography the company has created.
Current Schedule:
Monday 10:30am - Sun City
Monday 2pm & 3pm - Sun City (Every other week)
Tuesday 9am & 10am & 11am - Sun City
Tuesday 2pm - Bradenton
Wednesday 10am - Palmetto
Wednesday 2pm & 3pm - Sarasota
Thursday 10am and 2pm - Sarasota
Friday 9:30am - Sarasota
