We're looking for a Business Development & Outside Sales Representative!

New Mexico Sports & Wellness is Albuquerque's leading upscale athletic, aquatics, tennis, and family fitness club, with 5 convenient locations. Our clubs support the lifestyles of busy professionals, families, health enthusiasts and those who simply strive to be more active by providing a wide spectrum of unique fitness and wellness services.

What our Business Development & Outside Sales Representatives are all about:
Our Business Developement Representatives promotes and sells New Mexico Sports & Wellness memberships to area businesses to meet or exceed personal monthly goals. Develops & maintains a prospect lead generation system for corporate memberships & healthcare referrals by telemarketing, outside cold calling, club guest passes, walk-ins & member referrals.

Successfully establishing documented agreements with local companies, healthcare agencies, and/or medical affiliations. Collection of corporate affiliate fees from companies wishing to participate in the corporate wellness program.Promotes and engages participation in corporate sales programs including Healthiest Company and Corporate Fitness Challenge.

Responsibilities include:
  • Generating, maintaining and executing individual and corporate sales leads.
  • Assessing prospects needs and helping people find personal solutions through our memberships.
  • Coordinating and managing inside/outside promotional efforts to increase club awareness.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with local and national businesses.
  • Networking at all levels by attending local events.
  • Creating opportunities to develop new business and foster previous/current business.
  • Focus on retaining current members and obtaining referrals

  • You have at least one year of experience in a commission based/goal oriented sales environment.
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) and a Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
  • You'll have experience building and manintinaing strong business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
  • You have excellent communication skills and are able to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and evening hours.
  • Outside sales plus, but not required.
  • B2B sales experience required and the ability to work in a fast-paced, self directed, entrepreneurial environment.

*All benefits vary based on employee job status and including hours worked. Compensation: $30,000 base salary +bonuses, incentives and commission.
