Trigger Point Performance is seeking a Senior Marketing Director who is intelligent, intellectually and professionally curious, and passionate professional to add to our team. The Senior Marketing Director will be responsible for all marketing activities surrounding the companys product lines: self-care products, exercise and sustain products, recovery products and educational products. This will include product and strategic planning, product definition, product positioning, competitive analysis, competitive positioning, marketing communications, public relations, and tactical marketing both traditional and web-centric.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributing to and helping managing the growth of Trigger Point Performance
Development and deployment of an Annual Operating Plan for Trigger Point Marketing including over 40 events and Trade Shows, at which the Company markets and sells its products.
Representing Trigger Point Performance at trade shows and other public events to discuss market trends with industry experts and helping the CEO develop a strong market message.
Advising senior and executive management on market trends, customer trends and our market share within the Specialty Retail Run and Bike Markets, the Fitness and Training Markets and the extensive Health Care and Self Care Markets.
Extensive industry knowledge is required to advise Trigger Point on how we can grow the business and develop strong relationships within these industries.
Contribute to the definitions and markets for Trigger Points next generation products.
Help the Executive Team drive the development process for product creation from a marketing perspective and advise the global Sales and Operations teams on use-cases for customer requests and suggestions.
Complete competitor analysis and advise our business teams on how we can remain competitive in this field.
Creating detailed market/business and product plans.
Develop, implement and manage plans for product launches documentation, sales collateral, and presentation.
Develop and distribute supporting product documents and Sales Collateral, which could include: briefs, application guides, data sheets, BOMs, bulletins, etc.
Product positioning of Trigger Point Performances current products in new and existing market segments; helping the VP of Sales and the Sales Teams forecast revenue associated with all new product and educational activities.
Develop and implement communication plans for customers, sales, investors, to create value and address competitive positions.
Provide the research and analysis of market opportunities, trends, and competitive pressures in order to create, develop, and execute appropriate product management strategies and road map.
Be responsible for: attracting, managing, retaining and developing talent in the department.
Requirements:
The ability to travel is a requirement
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related discipline; MBA is preferred, and a minimum of 8 years of Fitness, Athletic, or Athletic Product experience is a requirement. Certifications within our industries are a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Basic knowledge of our industries or key knowledge of one of our industries is required
Strong Business Analytical skills
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, including experience creating and making highly effective presentations to C-Level Executives
Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work effectively at all levels of an organization.
Detailed knowledge of key marketing tools, the Internet (including Facebook and Twitter) and strong domain publications and on line communication expertise.
